Salesbury Church of England School – Blackburn

In the summer we traveled up to Blackburn to install a 46.72 kWp solar PV system for one of the local schools (Salesbury Church of England School). The 128 x 365W Mono MBB Percium Half-Cell All Black solar panels were separated across 4 different roofs as the size of the system required would not fit onto one roof as the dimensions were not big enough. There were 64 x P801 optimizers that connected to two solar panels each. They were all wired up to the SolarEdge30K which was installed inside the school away from students. The energy that the system will produce annually is predicted to be around 34.65 MWh. The system isn’t just saving money on their electricity bills but they are also helping the environment by lowering their carbon footprint. The system will be saving around 8.07 tonnes of Co2 emmisons which is equivalent to planting 371 trees.

Above you can see two pie charts, the one on the left shows the amount of energy production the system is getting from the arrays and the one on the right shows the total energy consumption of the school per year so by seeing this you can gather that the school will be saving just over half the money on their electricity bills per year.

Residential Renewable Technology Installation in Warrington

Residential Renewable Technology Installation in Warrington

Residential Renewable Technology Installation in Warrington

This house in Warrington had various renewable technologies installed a couple of years ago and we have recently visited to get the completed installation footage due to the effect of Covid19. The customer had a 4.36 kWp solar PV system installed on the roof of his home consisting of 13 x SunPower, X21-335-BLK solar panels, 13 x P500 optimizers, and 1 x SolarEdge3680H inverter. The system was installed to produce clean energy to power the customer’s home and save money on electricity bills. The image below shows the estimated amount of energy that should be produced by the solar PV system every month of the year. It rises in the summer due to more sunlight.

Overall the system is estimated to produce 3.99 MWh of energy every year and save around 929.43 kilograms of Co2 emissions every year which is equivalent to 43 trees.

Customers Review

“From start to finish Genfit have been very professional and efficient. The installation itself went very smoothly and everyone was very helpful and informative on the set up.”

“The couple of teething problems we had were dealt with quickly and with no hesitation.”

“I am particularly impressed with the aftercare help as Genfit has been available for discussions at any time.”

“The electrical installation has been complemented by several professional electricians visiting for other jobs on the house.”

“I have no hesitation in recommending Genfit from my experience of them.”

Tesla Powerwall

We installed the Tesla Powerwall in the garage of the customer’s home so that they could store the energy being produced from the solar PV system.

You are assured of energy security and a clean energy lifestyle. Powerwall allows you to store 14 kWh of energy and use that energy to run your home with solar during the night and back up your home in the event of a power outage.

Powerwall reduces your reliance on the grid by storing your solar energy for use when the sun isn’t shining. Use Powerwall alone or combine it with other Tesla products to save money, reduce your carbon footprint and prepare your home for power outages.

Zappi Charger

We installed a Zappi Charger on the right-hand side of the customer’s home. This is because it was a suitable length to reach their electric vehicle on their drive.

Zappi is a smart EV charger with a difference. Not only does it operate as a standard EV charger, but it also has optional charging modes to utilise 100% GREEN energy generated from your Solar PV or wind generation.  Increasing the Return On Investment (ROI) for your panels and electric car, the Zappi is easy to install and user friendly.

Being the first-ever EV charger of its kind, our innovative team has carefully designed features and functions to give you complete control of your electric car charging experience. Paired with the myenergi app, you can set timers to utilise economy tariffs, use the boost function, monitor your devices, and so much more!

Macclesfield Leisure Centre – 119.25 kWp Solar PV System

Macclesfield Leisure Centre – 119.25 kWp Solar PV System

Macclesfield Leisure Centre Solar PV Installation

Back in the summer, we started various jobs in the Cheshire East mainly completing solar PV installations for Leisure Centres. This 119.25 kWp Solar PV System was installed for Macclesfield Leisure Centre to generate energy for the swimming pool and gym area as well as saving money on their electricity bills and becoming an eco-friendly leisure centre. The system was installed on the main roof of the building consisting 318 x Longi Solar, LR4-60HPH-375M solar panels which were split apart due to some vents on the roof. We also used 159 x P730 optimizers and 1 x 3 phase SolarEdge 82.8K inverter in this installation as a 3 phase is more suitable for commercial projects.

The system is estimated to produce 97.21 MWh of energy every year and saves 22.65 tonnes of carbon emissions which is equivalent to over a thousand trees.

Integrated Roof 5.25 kWp Solar PV System, Cheshire

Integrated Roof 5.25 kWp Solar PV System, Cheshire

Integrated Roof 5.25 kWp Solar PV System in Cheshire

This is one of the recent integrated roof installations we have completed close to our site in Chester. The customer was getting a new roof fitted and decided to get solar panels integrated into the roof before the roofers came to lay the slate around the solar panels. The solar PV system consisted of 14 x LG Electronics Inc., LG375N1K-E6 (Neon H Black) solar panels as well as the same amount of P401 optimizers and 1 X SolarEdge 3680H inverter.

The image above shows the amount of energy that the system is predicted to produce every month of the year which comes to an overall of 4.76 MWh  The system will save around 1.11 tonnes of carbon emissions which is equivalent to 51 trees being planted.

Integrated Roof System

If you are a homeowner and want to generate your own electricity with solar technology, but you’ve been putting it off because you can’t add panels on top of your roof. A roof integrated solar PV system could be the solution for you.

Integrated solar panels are also referred to as in-roof solar panels. They are essentially the same as traditional solar panels which are installed on top of roof tiles, but these panels are integrated into the roof, i.e. they replace an area of your roof with no tiles underneath. Integrated solar panels are designed to be weatherproofed and to be as strong as normal roof tiles but also include the photovoltaic cells to generate electricity for your home.

Aldersey Green Golf Club 14.80 kWp Solar PV System

Aldersey Green Golf Club 14.80 kWp Solar PV System

Aldersey Green Golf Club 14.80 kWp

Last week we made the short drive to Aldersey Golf Club to install the 14.80 kWp Solar PV System, which consisted of 40 JA Solar, JAM60S21-370 solar panels separated into 5 different areas to fit on the roofs of the clubhouse. There was also 1 P401 optimizer installed per panel to connect the system together. We installed a single phase SolarEdge 10K inverter in the clubhouse which was wired up to the roof to complete the system.

The 14.80 kWp Solar PV System is estimated to produce 11.84 MWh of energy every year, but this can vary due to the weather across the calendar year. Aldersey Golf Club will also be helping the environment and fighting climate change by reducing their carbon footprint by 2.76 tonnes every year which is equivalent to 127 trees being planted.
