Genfit were chosen by Neston based business Cheshire Wellness to develop their energy efficiency master plan.  For over 50 years Cheshire Wellness has been one of the most respected names in the design, construction and manufacture of swimming pools, tiled spas, experience rooms and medical wellness products which are hand crafted within a 30,000 sq ft factory. We installed a 60kWp PV system across two buildings for their site in Neston. The system saved 14.01t of CO2 emissions and was predicted to produce 49.84MWh of energy every calendar year. It was made up of 222 x Seraphim Solar System Co.Ltd., SRP-270-6PB (35mm frame) solar panels split across the 2 buildings with 112 x P600 optimizers and 2 x SolarEdge 25K Inverters connected to complete the system.

During the first full month the solar system generated over 70% of the electricity required to power the factory, therefore significantly reducing it’s draw on the grid.  The business is now looking to further benefit from it’s solar production by adding battery storage so that every watt of energy generated will power the factory even after the sun has gone down.
